When Mimi passed in April 2016, she left behind more than memories — she left behind recipes. The kind passed down without measurements, learned by watching, tasted by heart. Her grandson opened Mimi’s Cajun Café to keep those flavors alive and share them with Houston: bold Louisiana-inspired Cajun cooking, seasoned with Chicago influence, and served with the warmth of a family kitchen.
